2012 Father's Day Dinner

The Peppers with the stuffing just added
The Peppers with Cheese on top that will go in the oven to melt and cook more.

The Peppers that just came out of the oven and ready to eat!!

This year for Father's Day my mom and I made something for my very special dad (Daniel). What we made wear stuffed Green and Red Peppers with our favorite sausage from Clancey's, the Garlic and Shallot sausage. I based this recipe on the meal I made at the CSA farm that we belong to when I went up there for a week, last summer. I changed a couple ingredients to the dish and I also used some different tactics to make these stuffed peppers. The pictures that I took of the peppers are three of the stages of making this delicious dish. The link that is added to this post is the recipe that I used and I also revised like I said before. In the end these stuffed peppers were some of the best stuffed peppers my fabulous dad had tried. We served these stuffed peppers with Garlic Bread and a Tomato Dipping and Sauce. One thing I did change from when I was at Norm's CSA Farm was that I cut the peppers in half and not keeping them whole. This will be an excellent recipe for when you have grown your own peppers or bought local peppers from a local market.
